Recreational Outings

This popular program is ideal for organizations looking to provide a unique and memorable experience for large groups. We offer several options that are well suited to your needs. Each creates an opportunity for everyone to easily relax or take an active part in the sailing adventure. Choose the program that suits you best.

Sail in Groups of Six (Up to 125 passengers) Accommodating up to six participants per boat, this option provides for individual attention in a more intimate setting. Participants will experience the thrill of sailing the vessel under the guidance of their instructor. It is not uncommon for crews to engage each other in friendly competition as skills emerge.

Sail as One Group (up to 49 participants) For groups as large as 49, wishing to sail as a single group, we offer ‘Bumblebee', our 53’ excursion yacht. This is the perfect setting for a party or event where cohesion is desired. Our professional crew will attend to your every need as we ply the waters of Chicago. These charters can be arranged for daytime or evenings, with or without catering.

Chicago Sailing will work closely with your group's coordinator prior to the event to tailor design your event to your specific requirements to ensure your event will be a resounding success!

Recreational Outing Fee: $125 per person for three hours.
Fee includes sailing aboard our J/22's, J24, J/30s, Hunter 326's, or Bumblebee. Food and beverage are optionally available through our caterer.
