Course Description

Have you got the itch for a few days of adventure? Chicago Sailing provides the perfect opportunity for you to enjoy three days of sun, fun and sailing. What better way to meet new friends, learn some sailing skills and discover the joy of new landfalls?

Our 3-Day Getaways begin at dusk, with a fabulous Chicago sunset over your shoulder. You have plotted the course and set the sails for a moonlight sail to a nearby port of call. Under the watchful eye of your professional captain you will sail into the kind of adventure that only comes from making a new landfall. In three days you will have experienced the joys of night sailing, watch-standing, basic piloting skills, anchoring off beaches*, and some on-board cruising skills. Best of all you will have created a memory.

Chicago Sailing’s Getaways could not be easier, more affordable or more fun. You will live a simple, carefree lifestyle, sleeping aboard and dining ashore. All you need are an overnight bag, a bedroll and a fun attitude.
