There is no more fun way to get on the water than our J24 Preferred Rental Program. Whether you wish to polish your sailing skills or entertain as many as five of your friends on the big waters of Lake Michigan, the J24 PRP is your answer. And at $1,800* for an entire season of sailing, there is certainly no more affordable way to put some adventure in your life.

Chicago Sailing designed the J24 PRP as a practical venue for new sailors to gain valuable sailing skills upon completion of Basic Sailing 101 and Intermediate Sailing 161. In no time it became popular with seasoned, performance-minded sailors. Today, it is the only offering of its kind and quite popular with a wide variety of sailors.

The J24 is the quintessential keelboat that ushered in the era of performance sailing. A timeless classic, J24s number in the thousands, with active racing fleets in nearly every country. With such a pedigree you can be assured the the J24 is the ideal platform for fun, learning and entertaining. It will launch you on the same lifetime of adventure that it has for hundreds of thousands of other sailors.

As a participating captain you will have the choice of a seasonal calendar with thirty-six 3-hour sailing slots per season, including 12 weekend and holiday times. You are encouraged to augment or improve your calendars through trades with other captains. You may also claim unused sailing times that are offered. Even the most avid sailors will be challenged to fully enjoy all the sailing time that is available.
